By using Outlast® technology, Ekoï has designed the first generation of jerseys capable to actively and continuously participatie in the regulation of your body temperature both when it is (very) hot, as the fabric is designed to absorb excess heat to keep you cool. And conversely, when chilly, the heat previously stored in the fiber is restored protecting you from any drops in temperature.

Developed for NASA to cope with extreme temperature variations in space, the Outlast® concept, has been used for the first time by Ekoï in the manufacture of cycling wear, to cover the complete panoply of temperature variations from cold starts, heat spikes, exposed climbs, passages in the shade, fast or high mountain descents etc. . Going from a cold atmosphere to (very) hot (and vice versa) you will not feel chills or hot flushes. It's because of its thermo-regulating properties, that makes this base layer the ultimate weapon when riding in any temperature.

This comfort is accompanied by increased performance as by preventing your body from overheating, by an average of 8% (-2°C/ -4°F)**, this fabric with integrated Outlast technoloy reduces the heart rate from accelerating and optimizes breathing.

Thanks to proactive Outlast® thermoregulating technology, this long-sleeved winter base layer keeps your upper body at the right temperature throughout your ride, whatever the variations in temperature, between -10° and +10°C / 14 and 50°F.
Its secret lies in the ability of its Outlast® fiber to keep your body at a constant temperature as the fiber stores heat as you work and releases it as the temperature drops. No more cold snaps from descending mountain passes or riding in the shade.
